Improve resistance accuracy in high frequency and high speed applications. Although the resistance accuracy of discrete resistors is usually 1%, in actual circuit mutual mains, there will be parasitic inductances in the resistor package itself and PCB vias and pads. For example, when a 50 ohm resistor in a 0402 package is mounted on a PCB, the associated parasitic inductance is typically 6nH. If the resistor works at a frequency of 2GHz, its parasitic inductance is as high as 49 ohms. It far exceeds the 1% tolerance of the resistor itself. However, the parasitic inductance of the buried resistor itself is extremely less. When interconnecting with the actual circuit, no pads and vias are required, which greatly reduces the parasitic inductance. Therefore, although the precision of the manufactured buried resistance is only 10%, its actual precision is much higher than that of discrete resistors in high-frequency and high-speed applications.At present, the application of buried resistance technology is mainly in two ways:

(1) Plane subtraction method: directly press the bought resistance copper foil on the PCB, and process the resistance through the etching method. It is mainly used for the design of the resistance range of 50~100000m, and the resistance tolerance can be controlled at +/-15%, it is also mature and most widely applied technology at present. The main representative material is Ohmga, and the thickness of Trece is only about 0.2um.

(2) Plane addition method: Print the purchased resistance ink directly on the surface of the PCB, which is mainly used to replace the surface resistor of the circuit board. The resistance range is between 300~100kohm, and the resistance tolerance range is currently roughly controlled at +/- Between 20%, it has a wide range of uses.
